Every two years, the STC, PennDOT and our transportation partners update Pennsylvania’s Twelve Year Transportation Program (TYP). Public input is an important part of the update process. The open public comment period for the 2021 TYP update was held March 11 through April 26, 2019.
The Online Public Meeting was held on Wednesday, March 20 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. If you were unable to attend the live meeting, you can watch a recording.
The Transportation Survey was available during the open public comment period from March 11 through April 26, 2019. The survey results will help inform the STC, PennDOT, and our transportation partners as they incorporate public transportation priorities into the Twelve Year Program update.
The 2021 TYP update is a two-year process. It started in February 2019 with the release of the Transportation Performance Report and was followed by the Transportation Survey and online public meeting in March and April. The STC is compiling the public feedback and will share it with the Planning Partners soon. The feedback helps to shape the regional transportation plans which will form the statewide 2021 Twelve Year Program.
