Transportation Survey

The State Transportation Commission (STC) and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) conduct a survey every two years as part of the 12-Year Program (TYP) Update public comment period. This survey also informs Pennsylvania's Long Range Transportation Plan and the Freight Movement Plan.

The purpose of the survey is to receive your feedback in key areas of transportation, including:

  • Transportation Modes
  • PennDOT Budget
  • Transportation Issues
  • Transportation Priorities

When is the next survey?

The survey is now open from Monday, March 1, through Wednesday, April 14, 2021. Join our email list to receive notifications.

Paper copies of the survey are available upon request by calling 717-783-2262 between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

PennDOT will make all reasonable modifications to policies, programs, and documents to ensure that people with disabilities and those with limited English proficiency have an equal opportunity to enjoy all of its programs, services, and activities.

To request assistance to participate in the survey, please contact PennDOT’s Program Center by emailing or calling 717-783-2262 from 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.  If you have other questions or challenges, please contact PennDOT’s Bureau of Equal Opportunity to request help by emailing or calling 1-800-468-4201; TTY (711).
