Transportation Survey

The State Transportation Commission (STC) and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) conduct a survey every two years as part of the 12-Year Program (TYP) Update public comment period. Public input from the survey is used to inform the update of the 12-Year Program as well as updates to other state transportation programs.

To report an immediate state-owned road condition or safety concern, please submit your concern online at the customer care center or call 1-800-FIX-ROAD. The official public comment period for the 2025 12-Year Program update ended on April 30. The survey information received outside of the comment period will be shared monthly with PennDOT district offices and the Metropolitan and Rural Planning Organizations.

Purpose

The purpose of the survey is to receive your feedback in key areas of transportation, including:

  • Transportation Modes
  • PennDOT Budget
  • Transportation Issues
  • Transportation Priorities
